An oscilloscope was hooked directly to the Hamamatsu CCD head's video output. The resolution is only 512 pixels/frame. The sync signal is the "START" signal to the CCD. Nothing recognizable at this point, but the shapes of the spectra seem to be consistent with the material being tested. The main point here is to check the sync signal and the stability of the electrical signal (synced samples) coming from the detector before it hits the ADC for digitization.
